About

I'm a fairly newlywed PhD candidate writing a dissertation about language teaching with a very long title.

Mrs. H-B

I like many things:

being a Mormon
Mr. H-B
our families (yes, I like my in-laws!)
reading
blogging
playing the piano
watching TV and movies
the ocean
cooking and baking
thinking about graduation
teaching Spanish
Haribo gummies
surfing the internet
Diet Dr. Pepper
organizing
tangerines
learning new things
taking pictures

I'm married to Mr. H-B. He's a Midwestern farm boy studying engineering.

Mr. H-B

He likes many things:

being a Mormon
Mrs. H-B (obviously)
our families (he hit the in-law jackpot)
farm work
playing the guitar
the Midwest
mountains
the Simpsons
playing computer games
Greta (though he'd never admit it)
building things
math
hamburger stroganoff
lemonade
Ozzy Osbourne
staying up late at night
road trips

We have a wheaten terrier mix (I think. This week.) named Greta. I adopted her before Mr. H-B came into my life. She has since adopted him. Traitor.

Greta

She likes many things:

treats
giving high fives
bread
licking feet
resting on the balcony
tummy rubs
peanut butter
giving ten
blueberries
following me like a sheep
tomatoes
sneaking naps on my down comforter
snow

She is also afraid of many things:

aluminum foil
the broom
the swiffer
rain (but not thunder)
the blow dryer
belts
and most of all...the vacuum cleaner

We live in the Midwest and are making the most of our lives as students, before we have to venture into the real world of paying jobs.
